One night each month usually the first Tuesday where writers may optionally participate in writing on the themes that were selected the previous month.
We have been invited to have a table at the Sunnybrook Farm Flea Market on May 29. We will decide if we want to participate at our next business meeting.

Our anthology still looks like a skinny old coyote.
This is a nudge to:
- get your submission in to Dave if you are still sitting on it
- reconsider if you had decided not to submit

1. Members of Writers’ Ink are encouraged to begin sharing their anthology pieces as soon as possible at the Tuesday evening meetings. We hope to hear two offerings per meeting. (The red anthology had submissions from 24 writers, the blue anthology had 21 author submissions.) With 2 offerings per meeting, it will take about 3 months to hear from everyone.) 2. As soon as you have carefully chosen what you would like to see in the anthology, please contact John Burnham. He will tell you when you are scheduled to present to the club. If you cannot attend on your scheduled night, please arrange to trade places with another club member. 3. On the night you present, club members will be asked to comment on your offering. Once you are satisfied that you have made any necessary revisions, bring three copies to a meeting and ask for three volunteer editors. 4. Edited submissions should be returned to the author. As soon as changes have been made, the author should e-mail the finished product to Dave. 5. Once Dave has any submissions he will perform his magic as far as converting to PDF or InDesign, pagination, etc. 6. Once your work is print-ready, Dave will e-mail it back to you for a final proofreading. 7. If all submissions can go through the initial sharing, commenting and editing stages by the end of November, and assuming that most folks are quite busy during December (so nothing official is planned for that month), we will have time to do the additional tasks. If we use January as a contingency month, we should be able to have February 1 as a final deadline. 8. Assuming that all goes well, and if two months at the printers is a reasonable period, we should be able to have the anthology in our possession by May 1, 2010. BEST WISHES. PLEASE DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE THIS VENTURE A SUCCESSFUL AND PAINLESS ACTIVITY. *** Additional considerations suggestions for a cover would be appreciated small fillers are helpful e.g. quotes, short poems a biography might be helpful. 2000 words of prose 144 lines of poety The idea is to offer each writer 4 pages in the anthology.
